Spain
After our 3 week trip to Spain, with about 4 days of Paris thrown in, I came home to weigh in. My Weight Watchers leader was surprised to learn that I had maintained my weight! We were both excited, as I related to her the things we'd seen and the food I'd eaten: daily cervesa (beer), pescado fritos (fried fish), chocolate caliente(hot chocolate that tasted like a melted candy bar). In touring museums, villages, and churches, we walked alot and I drank lots of bottled water every day. This is my one-year anniversary of maintaining my weight at 155 or less. What I've learned is that THE FOOD WILL BE THERE TOMORROW. That translates into you don't have to eat the whole thing of something that's fabulous-tasting. If you cooked it, you can cook it again. If you bought it, return to buy some more later. If a friend or co-worker made it for an event, request it again some other time.

Congratulations, mommy!! You rock! We should celebrate. Let's go to Red Lobster sometime soon and have girl talk. I miss you.
